The mission of the AlphaJiri Investment Fund is to contribute to the sustainable development of Sub-Saharan Africa. In particular, the objective is to invest in impact ventures that provide solutions to strengthen climate change-resistant agriculture and decouple the region’s economic growth from resource use.
The Fund’s focal areas therefore include:
- Sustainable Agriculture,
- Renewable Energy and Energy Access,
- Circular Economy, and
- Employment and Economic Development.
The Fund also particularly emphasizes the promotion of women’s economic and social opportunities, both within the investee companies and through the products and services that they offer.
